1. Who Bets Here
The only players that wager at TopBet are ones that are unaware of the payout situation. It always help to look into these things and from our experience and what we’ve heard, TopBet is one of the worst when it comes to paying out their clients.

2. Customer Service
Obviously, if you’re having problems paying your customers, your customer service can’t be great or even good. You can’t reach them 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which is what the good books offer, and that is another red flag. Overall, it’s not a good scene over at TopBet in regards to their customer service. When they start paying clients on time (and at all), then their rating in this category could get bumped up.

3. Placing A Bet
Of course, it’s simple to place a wager at TopBet because no shop will ever make it difficult to accept bets, but they use too many colors and it can throw you off as to where to look. You get used to it the more you play, but a better color scheme would go a long way in helping clients make their bets.

4. Variety
Being an American sportsbook, you’re going to find all the major sports like football (NFL and college), baseball, basketball and hockey available at TopBet, along with mixed martial arts and golf. You’ll find a little European soccer, cricket and rugby, but for the most part this is a shop for those who favor North American sports. If that’s what you’re looking for, then TopBet has what you need.
Betting Limits:
- NFL Games: $2,000
- NBA Games: $1,000
- NHL Games: $1,000
- MLB Games: $1,000
5. VIP Program/Loyalty Program
Here is where TopBet tries to go above and beyond the call of duty as they basically offer you points for the amount of wagering you do, although you can do that at most physical casinos and sportsbooks. Still, it is better than nothing. You take the points you get and you can turn them into cash. There is a scale which you can find at their site, but right now it looks like 15,000 points will get you $5, 50,000 will get you $20 and 95,000 will get you $40. It doesn’t sound like a lot and really, it isn’t, but it’s better than nothing.
6. Bonus & Rebate Program
Again, TopBet tries to bribe you with a massive bonus just for making your first deposit, and in this case, you’ll get a 50% bonus, although there is a maximum of $250. It has to be rolled over five times in all, which is excellent as you usually have to roll over bonuses as large as this more than five times, but TopBet is trying to keep as much business as they can.
7. Website & Usability
While the home page is very inviting and makes you think that the website is like that, but it isn’t. You can’t really do much outside of betting, and even though they have an option for live betting, it is only lines and odds. There is a stats section that is provided by a third-party company, but overall, don’t expect a lot from TopBet.
8. Reputation
What more can we say about TopBet? It’s tough to look past the poor record of payouts and it wouldn’t really matter what else did they did well, if you’re not feeling secure with your money, that is always going to be in the back of your mind and that will affect the picks you make. The bonuses are great and there is plenty to wager on if you’re looking for the meat and potatoes of wagering, but that just isn’t enough to put TopBet over the top, so to speak.
There is lots of room for improvement and you never know, TopBet may even surprise you and make some changes. But until that happens, you would be very wise to avoid this sportsbook unless you want your money to disappear.
